Why Lifestages?
We are called Lifestages, because all businesses going through different periods within their lifetime and also people go through different stages within their development as you may probably already know.
The history of Lifestages UK Ltd?
Lifestages UK Ltd was formed in January 2009 and is relatively new and has many different services and products and is made up of many different parts.
It is run by David Rolph who is both the Managing Director and Diversity Consultant, he is a wheelchair user who has a genetic condition, which makes it difficult to walk, however he is very intelligent as well. He is one of the directors of the business, and this is a family business that is run under the model of a Social Enterprise.
Lifestages UK Ltd aims & objectives?
Because we are set up as a limited company without share and work to routes of the Social Enterprise Model we want to be able to re-invest any profits that are made back into Lifestages UK Ltd. Therefore we want to be able to:
- Employ disabled people within their own environment (Remote Working)
- Give disabled people who have the right skills, qualities and aptitudes to come and work for us and help deliver our services
- Invest in people who are disadvantaged
- Take on apprentices in the services we provide
- Provide grants/ awards to Disabled Entreprenuers who are facing major financial difficulties
- Supporting people in disabled sport even purchasing the right equipment for them
